I dreamt about you and me
We were sitting under a tree
Silence filled our ears
As I held back the tears
Will you stay with me?
So we can be happy?
But you stood and walked away
Saying you don’t want to stay.

How could you wake up early
When you cried yourself to sleep?
How do you start a conversation
If you’re too shy to talk?

When he doesn’t even know you exist?

When you’re already  out of tears?

When will you learn to appreciate
the things I do for you
to see how much I love you?

Will you ever see through the friendship
that you and I keep?
